What is Evomon?
Evomon is a Roblox monster-collector RPG inspired by classic creature-catching games. You wake in a strange world, meet Mentor Ben, pick a starter from three eggs, and portal into Verdant Valley to begin catching and battling Evomons.
The game combines open-world exploration, turn-based PvE combat, evolution and fusion systems, co-op dungeons, fishing, daily quests, and a growing index of 200+ creatures including Shiny, Sparkle, and Legendary variants — some Legendaries can be ridden as mounts.
This unofficial Evomon Wiki consolidates verified facts on one thick homepage so you do not need thin empty hub pages. Deep walkthroughs live in our guide section; reference data for starters, the Evomon index, evolution, fusion materials, maps, and items stays here.

Catch → Train → Evolve → Battle → Dungeon → Collect
The Evomon Wiki core loop on Roblox — each step feeds the next; skip one and mid-game progress stalls.
- Catch
Explore open-world zones like Verdant Valley, Petal Pond, and Lava Crack. Use capture tools on wild Evomons, chase Shiny and Sparkle variants, and fill your index for bonus rewards.
- Train
Level your main line through island quests, trainer battles, and daily quests.
- Evolve
Meet level and ascension requirements to evolve starters and wild catches. Ascension quests raise your personal level cap and unlock higher Evomon growth.
- Battle
Turn-based combat uses type matchups and skill strategy. Wild encounters, trainer fights, and world bosses all reward materials, coins, and rank EXP.
- Dungeon
Team up with friends for co-op dungeon runs. Dungeons drop stronger rewards and test whether your invested line can handle group content.
- Collect
Hunt 200+ Evomons, Shiny and Sparkle variants, fusion results from EvoLab, and rideable Legendary mounts. The index and fusion dex are long-term goals.
Core guides
What to do in your first session
A practical opening route that matches how experienced players start after launch.
- Redeem every active code
Open Settings (cogwheel, top-left), paste codes from our codes page, and claim rewards before spending anything else.
- Pick one starter and commit
Choose Leafbu (Grass), Blazpu (Fire), or Bubble (Water) from the three eggs. Bubble has strong type coverage for Verdant Valley and Lava Crack — see the best-starter guide for details.
- Follow island quests
Complete Lillian's quests on each island for rank EXP and ascension progress. Main quests raise your level cap — do not skip them when you hit a wall around level 30.
- Focus one battle line
Use a strong support monster only until your main target can solo fights. Trim the team when grinding XP — divided experience slows everything down.
- Save evolution materials
Do not evolve every catch. Invest in monsters that carry your current island and save fusion materials until you know the target from EvoLab.
- Enter dungeons when ready
Once your main line survives without constant rescues, try co-op dungeons and EXP challenge areas for better rewards. See the dungeon guide for timing.
Starter eggs — Yellow, Blue, and Green
Each egg gives a different type starter. Wiki dex names differ from in-game nicknames — both are listed below.
| Egg | Starter (in-game) | Dex name | Type | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Yellow Egg | Leafbu | Tatamon | Grass | Balanced early route; strong in grass zones |
| Blue Egg | Blazpu | Hatybaemon | Fire | Aggressive damage; weak in Lava Crack later |
| Green Egg | Bubble | Ibiramon | Water | Best overall pick — beats Verdant Valley rock boss and Lava Crack |
Community consensus and island type matchups favor Bubble for new players. Read the full best-starter guide before choosing if you prefer damage or collection over efficiency.

Evomon Wiki — Evolution & fusion systems
Two growth paths on the Evomon Wiki — normal evolution through leveling and ascension, and Fusion Evolution through EvoLab with expedition materials.
Normal evolution
Most Evomons evolve when they reach required levels and you complete ascension quests. Ascension raises both your trainer level cap and how high your Evomons can grow — hitting level 30 without ascending is a common wall for new players.
- Check evolution conditions in the index or in-game dex before spending stones
- Prioritize evolutions that unlock the next island or boss
- Do not evolve bench monsters — materials are limited early
Fusion Evolution (EvoLab)
Fusion combines specific materials from expeditions, quests, and fishing into new Evomons at EvoLab. Fusion results do not follow normal level evolution — they require exact material drops.
- Valley Expedition: Earth, Fire, Tank, Water, Wind Evofossils
- Jungle Expedition: Ancestral Blade, Broken Evodisk, Golden Evostatue
- Mountain Expedition: Frozen Evodisk, Frozen Evostatue
- First Expedition Boss: Pitaya → Pitayamon
- Fishing: Zero Snowflake · Quests: Bunny Ears, Misterious Jewel, Evokia Phone
Shiny, Sparkle, and Legendary
Shiny Evomons are rare color variants. Sparkle Evomons are an even rarer flash variant. Legendary Evomons include rideable mounts — the Roblox store page highlights mount exploration as a core feature.
- Shiny: alternate palette, same stats — collection and flex value
- Sparkle: rarer visual effect — harder to find in the wild
- Legendary: top rarity tier — some can be ridden in the open world
Evomon Wiki — Maps, expeditions, and zones
Early progression on the Evomon Wiki moves island by island. Expedition zones supply fusion materials — plan routes around what EvoLab needs next.
Verdant Valley
First open zone after the tutorial portal. Grass and rock types — home to the first island boss and basic wild catches.
Petal Pond
Second island with water and normal types. Hosts the EXP challenge area — use free tickets for fast leveling.
Lava Crack
Fire-type zone where Water starters dominate. World boss in the main hub is also Fire-type.
Valley Expedition
Drops Earth, Fire, Tank, Water, and Wind Evofossils for fusion recipes.
Jungle Expedition
Source for Ancestral Blade, Broken Evodisk, and Golden Evostatue fusion items.
Mountain Expedition
Frozen Evodisk and Frozen Evostatue drops — needed for mid-tier fusion Evomons.
EvoSquare and Evotrade are quest hubs (Bunny Ears, Misterious Jewel, Evokia Phone rewards). Fishing zones drop Zero Snowflake for fusion.
Evomon Wiki — Items, food, and tools
Survival and progression items support your main line — do not hoard food on monsters you are not raising.
Food (hunger)
Apple, Fish, Meat, Cherry, Banana, Ginger, Ice Cream, Hot Pepper, Jackfruit, Dino Meat, Strawberries, and more
Keeps Evomons fed in the open world. Carry basics when exploring long routes.
Capture tools
Standard Balls, Advanced Balls (from codes)
Advanced Balls from code rewards help early catching — use on targets you plan to keep.
EXP items
Small / Medium fruits
Code rewards and quests supply fruits — dump them on your single main target, not the full team.
Tools
Shovel (clean droppings), XPNATOR (stored experience)
Utility tools for world upkeep and XP banking — secondary priority after your battle line is set.

Wild Evomons and bosses
Beyond starters, early zones introduce catchable wild lines and island bosses that gate progression.

Rock-type island boss — Water starters have type advantage here.
World hub boss
Fire-type world boss — another reason Bubble is a strong pick.
First Expedition Boss
Drops Pitaya for Pitayamon fusion at EvoLab.
Trainer battles
NPC trainers on each island — steady rank EXP and battle practice.
Solo progression vs co-op dungeons
Most early hours are solo — dungeons and raids reward grouping once your main line is stable.
Solo / story route
- Island quests, ascension, and focused leveling
- Best for starter investment and index filling
- Use fast-leveling guide for XP efficiency
Co-op dungeons
- Team up for dungeon clears and stronger drops
- Bring your invested main line — not experimental catches
- Enter when solo content feels comfortable, not immediately

Evomon Wiki FAQ
What type of game is Evomon?
Evomon is a Roblox monster-collector RPG with open-world exploration, turn-based PvE combat, evolution and fusion systems, co-op dungeons, and 200+ Evomons including Shiny, Sparkle, and Legendary variants.
Which starter is best for beginners?
Most guides recommend Bubble (Green Egg / Ibiramon) because Water types beat the Verdant Valley rock boss and dominate Lava Crack. Leafbu is balanced; Blazpu hits hard early but struggles in fire zones.
Where do I redeem Evomon codes?
Open Evomon on Roblox, click the Settings cogwheel in the top-left corner, paste a code into the Enter Code field, and press OK. See our codes page for the full active list.
What is the difference between Shiny and Sparkle?
Shiny Evomons have alternate color palettes. Sparkle Evomons are a rarer variant with a distinct sparkle effect. Both are collection-focused — stats match their normal forms.
How does Fusion Evolution work?
Take specific materials from expeditions, bosses, quests, or fishing to EvoLab. Each recipe produces a fixed fusion Evomon — for example, Broken Evodisk from Jungle Expedition creates Abamon.
How do I get evolution materials early?
Follow island quests for rank EXP and ascension, run expeditions (Valley, Jungle, Mountain) for Evofossils and fusion items, and defeat the First Expedition Boss for Pitaya.
When should I start running dungeons?
Enter dungeons when your main Evomon wins solo fights without constant switching. Rushing co-op content before ascension and leveling basics wastes time — see the dungeon guide.
Can Legendary Evomons be ridden?
Yes. The official Roblox description highlights rideable Legendary Evomons for open-world travel — they are endgame collection goals, not early priorities.
Will the Evomon index keep expanding?
Yes. The game launched with 200+ Evomons and continues adding creatures, codes, and zones. This homepage index will expand as verified data is confirmed after each update.
